These uniquely shaped door latch levers enable quick entry through both inward and outward opening doors. The two piece set of Door Latch Lever Wires with ergonomically formed handles made out of strong synthetic material is extremely sturdy and allows the opening of closed but unlocked, single rebated doors. Engravings on the handle indicate the width of the angled wire (22 or 15 mm)and the appropriate side for doors mounted on the left or on the right (L or R). Once inserted between door and frame, slide the tool down to the latch and continue to slide the tool down while levering and the door will open. In the case of doors opening towards you insert the tool on the top with the tip pointing downwards. Here the idea is to get the tip behind the latch and push it towards you. Patented Opening Cards for Single and Double-Offset Doors Having to open closed but unlocked double-offset doors locksmith may face various problems such as a very tight gap between door and frame, a latch that is difficult to move, a broken latch and so on …The advanced technique this tool uses, allows the opening of double-offset doors even in very difficult cases. Also closed but unlocked single-offset doors or difficult emergency exit doors (where the latch may be found at a great distance from the door blade) can be opened without greater efforts. For the easy insertion of the card between door and frame we recommend the use of the Door Lever (Art.-Nr. 2320), a tool that is also helpful in many other situations. Delivery includes two different cards of 0.35 and 0.50 mm. Replacement cards not including the handle are available. The cards are made of a special plastic and designed for long term use.
