The casings of our TMPs are made from milled blocks of aluminium, which are anodised and finished with a special microfinish. A real eye-catcher with some clever functions and weighing just 26 grams. The individual picks are made of German high-grade steel, which is extremely tough but still offers the necessary flexibility. The milled metal body provides very high levels of torsional rigidity when picking locks. All picks and the integrated tensioner have been modified for picking in particularly narrow keyways. The gauge of the picks measures 0.5 mm. The integrated tensioner can be removed with a slight push and reinserted again equally easily. The individual picks are locked in place using a knurled screw on the top of the tool. A secure hold of the picks is therefore 100% guaranteed. With a very low net weight, this results in a sensitive picking process with a very firm grip.Another advantage of our development is the ability to change the pick tips within a very short time. All you have to do is loosen an Allen screw (2 mm). With the optionally available pick tips, you can put together your own customised pick kits. Thanks to the modular structure and side slots, our training locks are perfect for educating yourself how to pick difficult cylinder locks, such as dimple and euro profile locks. This is the perfect training tool for lockpicking at home and at work. Dimple or Euro profile? - Both! This practice lock literally has two sides: One side features a Euro profile and the other a Dimple profile. Variation and versatility are the most important characteristics of this model. You can always choose the appropriate cylinder and only have to decide which profile you want to use. Even the standard pin version of this practice lock is quite a challenge and requires a lot of know-how to pick it. If you wish to increase the difficulty or make it less challenging, then you can decide for yourself the degree of difficulty at any time by means of the fastening screws. Re-pinning the practice lock is easy peasy: Simply loosen the grub screws with the provided allen key and replace the springs and pins. After that, simply screw the grub screws back in and your new challenge with your training lock is ready. The set contains the required set of pins including a pair of tweezers in the scope of delivery. In this way, you can instantly adapt your training cylinder to your own needs. The latch opening cards are made from a type of plastic specifically created for their use. They allow a fast and easy opening of doors that are “only” closed, but not locked. Especially in cases where the gap between door and frame is too narrow for the use of latch pick needles these cards can prove their usefulness.
