In each case set, one or two positioning rings are included. Depending on the type of set purchased, it will contain a positioning ring for dimple locks and/or a positioning ring for disc tumbler-/detainer locks. The rings, in combination with the corresponding scale, give you a reference point in which range you are with the opening tool (pick or disc setter). In addition, with the positioning ring for dimple pin tumbler locks, you have the option of using a latching function. However, this only works in combination with the grid scale.

It serves as an aid for positioning the pick above a pin. Clear laser markings on the corresponding components ensure precise orientation during use. More control can be achieved by individually screwing the included handles into the basic module. These are required in some cases, especially when using dimple version. Changing the individual parts, such as the dimple pick, scale, positioning ring, key profile, tensioner and disc setter, can be carried out with minimal effort.
