This auxiliary tool is so simple, it’s ingenious! Using a pair of tweezers, all cylinder core pins are inserted into the slot regardless of size and shifted left and right until they jam. Just one run for all brands and pin lengths. This little tool prevents the curved shim from sliding and prevents any finger-damaging accidents from occurring. To attach to a shim, just bang the end of the holder against a hard surface and the shim can be placed at varying positions between the metal sleeve and the rod. The shim can then be clamped in place. This positioning can be readjusted by pulling the holder apart.
