The different shapes and lengths offer a wide range of opening options.The first three tools in the set are flat tension bars (SP11 to SP13, see pictures) offer a type of control that is often required, depending on the shape and condition of the lock. Some of them have teeth that are designed to increase the grip on the lock core.The four heavy bars (SP14 to SP17, see pictures) are designed for perfect tension control of the lock core. As with all types of tensioners that might be used for a specific lock, the following rule still applies: the closer the fit, the more control you will have over the lock core. The Multipick ELITE Ultradecoder is designed to decipher the combination of multi wheeled locks. By placing the Ultradecoder on the axle that runs through the wheels inside the lock the operator can feel for changes in the features of the axle. Flat spots or grooves on the axle can be felt by the Ultradecoder as the operator spins the wheels. These flat spots or grooves will reveal the locks combination. By using the decoder on the axle beside each wheel the operator can line up all the flat spots or grooves to the same position. When this is done the combination will be set. The final step is to move combination into the correct position. Simply roll each wheel down one position and test the lock to open. Repeat this process until it does open.The Ultradecoder is made from thin high test steel with a solid steel handle.This decoder can also be used to depress the locking bar inside the Master 175 and other similar models quickly opening the lock.
