Grid Scale BO-3.6 for Dimple Locks - Opener

The graduations of the grid scales are identical to those of the items MOB-SK001 to MOB-SK004 (3.1mm / 3.4mm / 3.6mm and 3.8mm). In addition, the graduation is recognisable here by a "ring nut". This serves as a grid. The scales offer the advantage that the pick is always positioned in the grid dimension in the thrust axis. For this purpose, an additional pressure spring pin is screwed into the positioning ring. This comes with the tool and can be used if required. Through the modification, the user can concentrate on the rotary axis and the pick in order to set the pin. The slight disadvantage of this is that the liberty in the thrust axis is lost. This could be an issue in some cases. In this case, a scale without a grid would be advantageous. This scale corresponds to the graduation 3.4mm

This means that the ball bearing and the tension rod as well as all moving parts should be kept free of metal shavings after each use and regularly treated with lubricating grease. You can either apply it by means of a brush or, alternatively, using a similar spray grease.
