That's why we now have a limited edition with bigger, thicker handles and an additional marking indicating the index point. This provides you with two practical advantages simultaneously. Easier to hold the pick (especially advantageous for bigger hands) and the index point is always in view. In this way, you will always be able to locate the next pin. The handles and the compilation of the kit were done in collaboration with Lock Noob, and have been additionally surface-treated by us in order to make the surface more scratch-resistant. This particular pickset, tailored for advanced and professional lock pickers, was designed by Christina Palmer in 2020 according to her mathematical and technical calculations for the most common pick profiles. Christina Palmer is known for her great passion for locksport. She combines her personal experience with the laws of physics, applying both to the development of these sophisticated profiles.We would like to thank Ms Palmer for providing us with her pick and tension designs. Like all Multipick pick blades, they are made of the finest spring steel in an unrivalled high-tech quality with a thickness of 0.4 and 0.6 mm. In addition to 8 different types of hooks, 4 diamond picks, 2 curved picks, 8 wave rakes and 16 special tensioners round up this ELITE-class pick set by Multipick, which is presented in a high-quality genuine leather case. 

Disc detainer locks are mainly padlocks and bicycle locks. The area of deployment is broad and can be found all over the world. With the ARES from Multipick and a little practice, you will be able to open almost any disc detainer lock. Furthermore, we offer common scales for Abus and Abloy. The difference is mainly in the graduation of 2mm (Abus, Abloy) and 1.6mm (Abloy). The scales are guides to make it easier to find the positions of the individual discs. The graduations already mentioned are the most widely used on the market. Of course, you can also use the scales for any other disc detainer lock. However, the graduation can then only be used as a reference. With the Multipick ARES Opening System, you have all the options to build the right tool for opening disc detainer locks. With this set you will be able to open even tough locks. The basic module offers you the possibility to modularly expand your system.  Our ARES is made of high-quality aluminium with an anodised coating and a special steel alloy, as used in all our products. In order to achieve smooth running between the tensioning tool and the setting tool, a sliding sleeve has been integrated. A clear laser marking of the corresponding components ensures precise orientation during operation. More control can be achieved by individually screwing the handles included in the scope of delivery into the basic module. These are necessary in some cases, especially when using the drill recess version. Changing the individual components, such as the dimple pick, scale, positioning ring, key profile, tensioner and disc setter, can be carried out with minimal effort.  

These scales are used for unlocking disc tumbler-/disc detainer locks. They are available in different graduations. Also here, the selection of a scale depends on the type of lock you want to open. This scale corresponds to the graduation 2.0mm .
