TCS-B ARES opening tool - The ultimate opening tool for dimple pin-tumbler locks Dimple cylinders are widely used and can be found in many residential doors. With the Multipick ARES Opening System, we have succeeded in creating a revolution in the field of tools for dimple pin-tumbler systems. A tool that offers countless possibilities to open almost any dimple cylinder reliably and quickly with a bit of practice.The included scale in the scope of delivery is designed for the TCS-B cylinder. It serves as an aid for positioning the pick above a pin. Alternatively, you can palpate the pins freely and then position them with the pick.In addition to the TCS-B, the basic module offers you the possibility to expand your system modularly.We are working specifically on further profile types for dimple pin-tumbler locks, disc locks and further extensions, such as for opening safes. You can find all components and accessories here..Our ARES is made of high-quality aluminium with an anodised coating and a special steel alloy, which is used in all our products.In order to achieve smooth operation between the tensioning tool and the setting tool, a plain bearing designed specifically for this purpose has been integrated. Clear laser markings on the corresponding components ensure precise orientation during use. By individually attaching the included handle to the basic module, a stronger force can be applied during pretensioning (dimple locks) and, depending on the task, a better hold of the tool and better feel can be achieved when tensioning.Operating instructions and an overview in tabular form of our ARES sets and their corresponding profiles and scales can be found under this link. 

This handle is intended as an optional aid. In each of the cases 2, 3 and 4 there are 2 of these handles. The handle is used to apply more pressure during pre-tensioning (Dimple locks) and, depending on the application, it gives a better hold of the tool as well as a better feel during tensioning. A maximum of 3 handles can be attached to the tool. These are screwed into the corresponding threaded bores on the lateral surface. It is entirely up to the user to choose whether to use 1, 2 or 3 handles. Based on our experience, one handle is sufficient. Handle length V2: approx. 53mm 

The different key profiles serve primarily to guide the pick, as well as to establish the pre-tension when setting the pins.  Another advantage of our profiles is that they can be removed from the lock after picking and a possible second closure can be bypassed, for example using the flip-it. Furthermore, the key profile can be used to check the function of the pins by inserting the profile on the corresponding side of the pins. Information on this can also be found in the explanatory video. We currently offer 8 different key profiles for the corresponding cylinders. Further types are being planned. This key profile is for ABUS-XD25. 

The popular panic door opener is now available for doors opening to the left and to the right. The easiest direction for opening is to go from the top towards the bottom of the door. Now this is possible with both right and left hand doors. No more complicated handling thanks to the two different directions in which you can now select from, left or right, depending on the direction the door is opening to. Practical and effective!For the opening of closed doors that open to the outside, single-offset doors, i.e. those that can be found in public buildings and emergency exits. In order to insert the tool into the gap between frame and door it is often necessary to broaden this gap using a suction cup or our Multi-Opener. Depending on the door, this application can require different techniques therefore it’s advisable to be prepared for all possibilities!
