This 4-piece drill and mill auxiliary key set is an aid for targeted and efficient destructive opening of profile cylinder locks. It enables precise cutting of the core pin row in the cylinder housing by drilling or milling. The set makes the opening process considerably easier, especially for cylinders that are secured with hard driver pins.

The drill and mill auxiliary key is inserted into the keyway of the profile cylinder. This pushes the cylinder core pins into the cylinder housing. A drill or milling cutter is then used to drill directly below the cylinder core in order to cut through the row of pins. Depending on the cylinder, the drilling depth is roughly 2.5 cm so that all pins in the core can be cut through. Once the milling or drilling has been completed, the tool should be held in the keyway to prevent the pins from moving and to prevent the cylinder core from jamming again. Afterwards, turn the key stump in the opening direction with the aid of a pair of pliers so that the auxiliary drill key can act as a key and open the cylinder.

The thin key blanks fit into most standard profiles and cover around 90 % of common cylinders.
