The 3.5 mm Door Handle Lasso Tool is a classic opening tool designed for non-destructive entry through slammed doors. Thanks to its slim diameter, it can be guided through the gap beneath the door to reach the interior door handle, which is then operated via the pull cord to depress the handle from the outside. This allows access without damaging the lock or the door. The tool works particularly well on doors with sufficient clearance at the bottom edge (approx. 4 mm or more), or in combination with methods used to create or widen the gap. In many cases, this simple technique provides the quickest solution for opening a door that has merely been slammed shut. Further developed in collaboration with locksmiths and authorities, this tool remains a proven and practical standard solution for professional users who regularly deal with slammed doors. The handle makes working much more comfortable and protects against injuries inside the hand by the edges of the opening cards. Assembling is easy: with a simple paper punch the card can be punched and fitted like a sandwich between the two handle parts the two crosshead screws and their counter nuts.
