Quick and easy opening of tilt windows?
Even when the shutters are partially closed and the key is still in the window handle?
What used to be technically impossible is no longer a challenge today. Many fire departments know the problem well: they arrive on scene and need to get inside quickly (hopefully it’s only the cat that needs rescuing). But how? The front door won’t open — so the window becomes the next option.
This is where many responders reach their limits. The window may be locked with the key still in the handle, and the shutters are half lowered. In this situation, the usual window-opening tools stop working.
That changes now. The Austrian company Kipp-Blitz, whose owner and founder is a firefighter himself, has taken on this problem and found a brilliant solution.
Until now, the control cable of all window-opening tools had to be routed laboriously to the side opposite the window handle. With the Kipp-Blitz, that is no longer necessary. Gone too is the cumbersome handling of an additional locking mechanism or a second cable that then also has to be attached to the window handle.
There just has to be a better way …
The result is a practical tool that can be deployed quickly and works flawlessly even under difficult conditions. We consider the Kipp-Blitz an extremely clever solution that makes the job easier for both firefighters and locksmiths.
Is the Kipp-Blitz the perfect window-opening tool?
We believe it is. With its additional opening functions and the well-designed transport pouch, every detail has been thought through. A genuine working tool — and therefore an absolute purchase recommendation from us.

Made in Germany, Made in Bonn – a promise.
From Bonn to the world. That was—and still is—our goal. Multipick was founded here in 1997 and has kept its headquarters and production on the Rhine ever since.
Why should we leave? Anyone who has ever been here will confirm that Bonn is a beautiful place, with people who are “typically Rhenish” – open-minded, warm, and welcoming. We began experimenting with various lock-opening tools at an early stage. We tested pull tubes, bells, and countless other tools, gathering extensive experience along the way. Whether it’s a pick set or a specialized tool for firefighters or locksmiths – in the end, a door or window needs to be opened. Our philosophy is simple: you have the problem, we provide the solution. Many of our tools—whether for hobbyists or professionals—are shipped from our warehouse to customers all over the world. Opening kits for caretakers and locksmiths, pick sets and lockpicking accessories for locksport enthusiasts, and Hobbs-style hooks for specialists working on opening sealed safes.
There are thousands of different applications for our specialized tools.
TFG shims and opening needles for unlocking doors that have simply fallen shut. QA Pro 2 and our V-Pro pulling screws for opening locked doors. We also offer milling cutters and drill bits for the rare cases when there truly is no other option. Many practical helpers—opening cards, wedges, latch spatulas, door handle hooks, spiral openers—tools designed to help you get the job done. And even when things get more complicated, you’re in good hands with us. Products like the Kronos and Artemis electropicks are among our absolute highlights. Anyone who frequently works on dimple locks or disc detainer locks will appreciate the ARES system. For window access, we provide the top-tier Kipp-Blitz products, widely used by emergency services such as fire brigades, THW, and police units. Many of our tools are manufactured directly in-house. This gives us the freedom to produce quickly and customer-oriented—without long supply chains or dependencies on external suppliers. That’s a major advantage for you, and of course, for the environment. One key benefit: you get everything from a single source, allowing us to guarantee consistent, reliable quality. That is our promise to you—everything from one hand, Made in Germany, Made in Bonn. Promised.
