Most cylinder producers use a left (guided on the left) profile for their standard cylinders. As this usually is the only common characteristic, most traditional bump keys with this “universal“ profile can only be used with very limited success. Only our new Slider Percussion Keys allow changing and adapting the impact, depending largely on the cylinder. This allows overcoming differences in the cylinders of different producers, such as springs of different strengths, different shapes of pins, different distances from the front of the cylinder to the first pin and differences in depths, of course. We decided to produce our first Multiversal Set for cylinders with distances of 4 mm between pins, because this is the measure that is used by most producers in the production of their standard lines of cylinders. Flex-Hammer IThe extreme flexibility and elasticity of the hammer handle allows the bump key to “jump” back out of the keyway immediately after being hit. This effect is very positive in the technique of bumping and we therefore recommend this hammer for beginners and people using common bumping technique. Weight : 74 g Length: 210 mm Flex-Hammer IIThe handle of this bump hammer is less flexible. The hammer is for all those users who already master or want to master the advanced bumping technique of “cushioned bumps”. Here the bump key is held between thumb and index finger. When hitting the bump key the fingers act as a cushion against the cylinder, again allowing the key to “jump” back out. Weight : 74 g Length: 210 mm During our tests these complementary characteristics of both hammers meant that we effectively needed significantly less tries to open a wide range of different cylinders. Special characteristics:comfortable, non-slip handleheavy, round plastic head allows exact and well aimed hits from different angleswell balanced weight repartition  

Many cylinders are much easier to open in one direction than the other or have been closed by various turns. Often, it is also impossible to pull the bump key out of the keyway once the cylinder has been unblocked. In these cases it is necessary to pass the locking position of the cylinder once or repeatedly without being able to use a plug spinner (because of the stuck bump key). We have, therefore, developed an adapter for plug spinners which allows using them in combination with bump keys. The adapter is mounted on the Plug Spinner or Flip-It and the key handle is placed in the cut of the adapter.(Does not work with article 3125 - Flip-It) The rotary force of the plug spinner is now transmitted on the rotor via the bump key.
