We at Multipick see it as our responsibility to protect our resources and thus also our nature.

Very often, it is the many small things that contribute to relieving the burden on our environment and thus to preserving it for future generations. Many things can be implemented on a small scale and quickly lead to positive changes. It is not always about saving CO₂, but also about raising awareness for environmental protection and the conservation of limited resources and promoting new ways of thinking by all of us. Because every positive change is an important step into the future.

Making new from old

The packaging is not more important than the contents

For the past 5 years, we have been avoiding unnecessary packaging material and relying on recyclable resources to deliver our goods safely to you. We make sure to use packing material made of recycled material as well as certified cardboard boxes from controlled productions. Here we use a special machine that converts "old" cardboard boxes into new packing material that can be used again. Especially in the area of shipping and packing, we have succeeded in making great progress and placing a strong emphasis towards sustainability.

Sugar cane as a sustainable solution

In the area of case packaging for Bells,Lock pullers, Kronos and opening cases, we are already using material made from recycled plastic. Bio-HDPE plastic made from sugar cane will be the main material we will be using for many of our cases in the future. Sugar cane is considered to be an undemanding plant in terms of the quality of the cultivated land and is a rapidly renewable resource. Tool production is set for maximum efficiency. This applies to the use of our materials as well as to lubricants. In these areas, 100% biodegradable products are used, which do not place an additional strain on the environment.

Clever use of resources

In the future, our goal is to replace all plastic packaging with recycled material. These will be made out of cardboard, paper or alternative resources. The obligation to conserve our resources does not stop at our front door. That is why, throughout our production and shipping chain, we also make sure that our suppliers and forwarders are as committed to this obligation as we are. It is our responsibility to take the right steps now. This kind of transformation does not happen overnight, but it should have started a long time ago.
