O

A GOD AMONG LOCKPICKING TOOLS

Most tools are designed for just one specific type of lock, requiring professionals to carry several tools to meet the varied demands of their customers. With the Multipick ARES opening system, you have the flexibility to configure a single tool for opening both disc detainer locks and dimple cylinders—customized to suit your individual needs. Crafted from high-grade aluminium with an anodised finish and a special steel alloy, ARES is built with the same premium materials used across all our professional tools.

MODULAR DESIGN – EXPANDABLE AND FUTURE-READY

The base module provides the foundation for a fully modular system. We are continuously developing new extensions—for example, special attachments for safe openings or new versions for dimple cylinders. Many of these expansions are already available in our shop.

WHY USE MANY TOOLS WHEN ONE IS ENOUGH?

We offer a variety of sets and individual components for efficient, time-saving, and cost-effective opening of dimple cylinders and disc detainer locks. Thanks to its modular design, the ARES system delivers wide-ranging opening capabilities. It keeps you flexible at the door, allowing you to adapt quickly to different lock types.

MADE IN GERMANY, MADE IN BONN

The Multipick ARES opening system is manufactured exclusively in small-scale, artisan production at our facility in Bonn. We take pride in our commitment to local manufacturing and the high standards we uphold across all our tools. There’s a reason we say: Made in Germany. Made in Bonn.

THE RIGHT ARES FOR YOUR DIMPLE CYLINDER

ARES - Disc detainer and dimple lock opener - S2
With this extensive set, you have an extremely wide range of possibilities. Two basic modules and many different scales offer you a set that has never existed before. Even complex locks and cylinders can now be opened professionally by you in just a few steps. The all-inclusive set for your next task. Simple and practical, saves time and money. The included scales are used for the most common types of dimple as well as the most common types of disc disc detainer locks. They serve as a guide for positioning the setting tool above the pin or in the level of the disc to be set. Alternatively, you can palpate the pins or discs freely and then set them with the appropriate tool. With the Multipick ARES Opening System, you have all the options to build the right tool for opening disc detainer and dimple cylinders. This set will allow you to open even difficult models. In addition, you have the option to open more types of locks. The basic module offers you the possibility to expand your system modularly. Our ARES is made of high-quality aluminium with an anodised coating and a special steel alloy, which is used in all our products. In order to achieve a smooth operation between the tensioning tool and the setting tool, a sliding sleeve has been integrated. Clear laser markings on the corresponding components ensure precise orientation during use. More control can be achieved by individually screwing the included handles into the basic module. These are required in some cases, especially when using dimple version. Changing the individual parts, such as the dimple pick, scale, positioning ring, key profile, tensioner and disc setter, can be carried out with minimal effort.

ARES - Disc detainer lock opener
ARES - Disc detainer lock opener
Disc detainer locks are mainly padlocks and bicycle locks. The area of deployment is broad and can be found all over the world. With the ARES from Multipick and a little practice, you will be able to open almost any disc detainer lock. Furthermore, we offer common scales for Abus and Abloy. The difference is mainly in the graduation of 2mm (Abus, Abloy) and 1.6mm (Abloy). The scales are guides to make it easier to find the positions of the individual discs. The graduations already mentioned are the most widely used on the market. Of course, you can also use the scales for any other disc detainer lock. However, the graduation can then only be used as a reference. With the Multipick ARES Opening System, you have all the options to build the right tool for opening disc detainer locks. With this set you will be able to open even tough locks. The basic module offers you the possibility to modularly expand your system.  Our ARES is made of high-quality aluminium with an anodised coating and a special steel alloy, as used in all our products. In order to achieve smooth running between the tensioning tool and the setting tool, a sliding sleeve has been integrated. A clear laser marking of the corresponding components ensures precise orientation during operation. More control can be achieved by individually screwing the handles included in the scope of delivery into the basic module. These are necessary in some cases, especially when using the drill recess version. Changing the individual components, such as the dimple pick, scale, positioning ring, key profile, tensioner and disc setter, can be carried out with minimal effort.
