The tool is based on a unidirectional flat flag profile – one of the most versatile designs for manipulating dimple locks.The key feature lies in its alignment: the flag is perfectly in line with the shaft, resulting in an especially slim profile – ideal for tight tolerances and complex dimple locks.This geometry allows pins to be manipulated from both sides without losing torque control. This is a decisive advantage, particularly with high-security dimple locks that have multiple pin rows – such as top/bottom or side-by-side arrangements.Thanks to its dual-sided usability, the Flat Flag is suitable for left or right-hand operation, reducing the constant need to switch between different picks.The zero position remains visible at all times, making it easier to locate the next pin position. Christina Palmer, an expert in the field of locksport from the USA, encouraged us to produce the perfect turners for users in exclusive Multipick quality. We could not resist this wish and wanted to make tensioners the way it should be. Most commercially available tensioners have design flaws such as: The short blade is too short to span standard recessed plugs.The long blade is too long for stable placement in standard recessed plugs.The inside radius of the long blade is too large for flush placement in deep recessed plugs.The width of the blades is too large to also be used in BOK placement.The serrated blade teeth chew up keyways and damage valuable locks.The strain relief holes are a greater stress concentrator than inside corner fillets.The pry bar is double ended, so it does not slide in and out of case pockets easily, and snags and yanks out the other tools stored in the same pocket. We have learned from the mistakes of others and have made use of the knowledge of Chr.
