ABUS D6X / EC750 / EC850 / D10 – ARES opening tool for dimple cylinder locks – With the Multipick ARES opening system, we have achieved a revolution in the field of tools for opening dimple cylinders. A tool that offers countless possibilities, reliably opening almost any dimple cylinder quickly with a bit of practice.The included scale in the scope of delivery is designed for the ABUS D6X cylinder. It serves as an aid for positioning the pick above a pin. Alternatively, you can palpate the pins freely and then position them with the pick. In addition to the ABUS D6X, the basic module offers you the possibility to expand your system modularly.We are working specifically on further profile types for dimple pin-tumbler locks, disc locks and further extensions, such as for opening safes. You can find all components and accessories here..Our ARES is made of high-quality aluminium with an anodised coating and a special steel alloy, which is used in all our products.In order to achieve smooth operation between the tensioning tool and the setting tool, a plain bearing designed specifically for this purpose has been integrated. Clear laser markings on the corresponding components ensure precise orientation during use. Our diverse key profiles serve primarily to guide the pick, as well as to establish the pre-tension when setting the pins. Another advantage of our profiles is that they can be removed from the lock after picking and a possible second closure can be bypassed, for example using the Flip-It. Furthermore, the key profile can be used to check the function of the pins by inserting the profile on the corresponding side of the pins. This allows you to check whether the pins are moving in order for it to be positioned. Here we are looking at different "Dimple pin picks" required for setting the pins in the lock. We currently offer 5 different picks. These differ in the design and shape of the "flags". Depending on the requirements, the corresponding pick is used. For this purpose, we have also created a table to make it easier for you to choose the right pick.

Just like any other tool, our lock puller "Multipick Bell" also requires care. This means that the ball bearing and the tension rod as well as all moving parts should be kept free of metal shavings after each use and regularly treated with lubricating grease. You can either apply it by means of a brush or, alternatively, using a similar spray grease.
