The Emergency Set for Broken Latch is a practical tool set designed for professional use in cases of latch and bolt breakage. It enables targeted access to broken latches or bolts and allows controlled retraction, even when components are jammed or difficult to reach.After removing the door hardware, the latch can first be secured, for example using a door latch opening card. The inner square opening of the lock follower then serves as a precise centering guide for the hole saw, allowing the follower to be removed cleanly. The resulting access opening enables broken or blocked components to be safely retracted using the supplied stainless steel hooks. This method ensures controlled operation while minimizing unnecessary damage.The set is designed for reliable, structured workflows and supports efficient emergency interventions, particularly in cases of defective lock mechanisms.The set includes a 29 mm HSS bi-metal hole saw, three HSS drill bits (6.35 mm, 8.00 mm, and 10.00 mm) with special shanks for hole saw use, two stainless steel pointed hooks, and supplementary online instructions.
